Mrs Diana Thompson Ramsey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Diana Thompson Ramsey, age 60, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Mrs. Ramsey was a former 911 dispatcher for the Winter Haven, Florida Police Department and the Jackson, Alabama Police Department. She most recently served as the church clerk and secretary for Union Baptist Church of Winder. Mrs. Ramsey is preceded in death by her husband, US Chief Petty Officer (Retired) James Amber Ramsey and mother, Dixie Lee Thompson. Mrs. Ramsey is survived by her children; Stephanie Nicole Baker (James Christopher) of Winder, Thomas David Sylvester Ramsey of Winder, Amber Nicole Ramsey and James Thomas Ramsey of Rural Hall, NC; father, Thomas Thompson and brother, Ron Thompson both of Jackson, AL; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends also survive. A joint memorial service for US Chief Petty Officer (Retired) James Amber Ramsey and Mrs. Diana Ramsey will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Johnson officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the service time at Carter Funeral Home. The family welcomes flowers for their joint memorial service. Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
